The common characteristics of this plant include a bulbous trunk, which is used to store water, and its long, hair-like leaves that grow from the top of the trunk 


Native to dry regions of Mexico




A ponytail palm needs bright light 



Since water is stored in the trunk for longer time periods, it doesn’t need to be watered frequently. Your Ponytail palm will need the soil to dry out between waterings
